4-7 years of experience as test engineer who is hands on with testing Web Services
Hands on knowledge in Mobile application testing
Candidate must have good understanding on web technologies
Excellent knowledge in Manual Testing
Excellent knowledge on testing Web services (SOAP and REST)
Knowledge on Sync and Async services is must to have an overall understanding on application architecture, how different components communicate with each other
Need to have good experience in database testing and Mainframe Testing
Understanding on difference between REST and SOAP services
Should be able to differentiate between JSON and XML
Should be aware of difference between HTTP and HTTPS protocols
Basic understanding on client server architecture
Knowledge on request response mechanism
Need to know response codes 2xx, 3xx, 4xx 5xx series
Should be able to do assertions on response codes and response bodies
Ability to differentiate between authentication and authorization
Should be critically understand different authorization mechanisms
Should be able to read and understand the web service response
