Associate System Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Actively take part in the desktop/laptop support operations and report on your tasks/activities. Provide Level 2 technical support for all Windows-based (Win7/Win10) or MAC client machines.
  • Record in detail all your actions using the incident management tool and methodology.
  • Responsible for the software installation & troubleshooting (Local & Remote environment) of desktops & laptops through service requests.
  • You will manage hardware stock and inventory using in-house developed tools.
  • Handling deployment of software(s) using SCCM.
  • Handling bulk hardware and software rollouts across the organization.
  • Creation of a new virtual PC using VMWare vSphere 7.0.
  • Coordinating with other technical teams for incident resolution.
  • Creation of procedural documentation (Technical/Functional).
  • Weekly support during business hours (=Ombuds as per Colruyt terminology) on as per the team roaster through the year.
  • Taking care of the Procurement of IT hardware as per organization needs and prior experience in vendor coordination is considered as an added advantage.

  • Customer-friendly yet assertive (e.g., critical in non-standard requests)
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining data in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Available/adhering to the shift timings either WFH or Working from the office as per organization guidelines
  • Flexible to work during weekends or after business hours, basis the team's need.
  • PC Hardware troubleshooting knowledge
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Microsoft certification on Win7/10 operating system, or MAC(Optional)
  • SCCM knowledge would be added advantage (Optional)
  • Ticketing Tools knowledge such as Service Now
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework (Optional)

Experience: 0-3 years

Qualification: B. Tech/B. E (CSE/IT Preferably)
