Field Service is mainly responsible for the deployment and management of all end-user devices (mainly PCs, Laptops), software installation and troubleshooting plus offer 1st/2nd line support for these services, through Incident Management for the various businesses within Colruyt Group.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

With respect to the operational support of desktop/laptop environment (1st line/2nd line support):

Actively taking part in the desktop/laptop support operations and report on your tasks/activities. Provide Level 1/2 technical support for all Windows based (Win7/Win10)or MAC client machines

To provide Support and Operations of the managed Data Platforms of the Colruyt Group business, in all the following environments - Test, System and Production, within Open Systems (OS).

The Data Platforms in OS: The wide range of data platforms in OS include but are not limited to Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), SAP Sybase IQ cluster, Microsoft SQLServer both standalone and clustered, MySql, SAP Business Objects, SAS Suite including Analytics, ABM and customer intelligence, Informatica Power-centre, etc. Overall, the challenge as an (Infrastructure) Database Administrator is to ensure an optimized database infrastructure and make data available to the end users (business) according to the agreed Non Functional Requirements (NFR) and resolution of incidents within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

CMDB expert with hands-on experience in setting up and management of MicroFocus UCMDB & Discovery. Expertise including installing, configuring, operating, performance tuning, and scaling the UCMDB components to scale up to the enterprise needs

Responsibilities:

Setting up, administering and supporting the MicroFocusUCMDB (Configuration Management Database).

Configure and implement UCMDB Discovery (UDI/UD) to collect asset & utilization data for hardware and software on various sources like Linux, Window Platforms, equipment such as routers, switches, network printers and other network equipment.

Advice the Asset Manager(s) on CMDB improvements and take active role in implementing the recommendations.
